OUTBACK OFF-GRID POWER PRODUCTION
When you select an EVA Energy Container, a subsidiary company to EngineWorks, from EVA
Technologies for power generation, you benefit much more than by just saving the environment.
A very important function of the Eva Energy Container is that it can be used in outback regions where
it is geographically impractical, if not impossible, to install a permanent power grid. Compared to
conventional power-generating equipment, the Eva Energy Container is fully self-sustained by solar
and wind energy, so the fuel tank is never empty.
One of the greatest advantages with the EVA Energy Container is that it can be equipped with a
refrigerator and a cold storage room for medicine, food supplies and other sensitive products. It can
also be used to generate power for communications and water treatment. Hot water is always
guaranteed thanks to its heated solar thermal collectors.
More EVA containers can be added to insure increased performance whenever more power is needed.

The prototype EVA Energy Container has provided
environmental power since September 2009. In this example,
power is produced for kitchen equipment such as a coffee
machine, refrigerator and dishwasher.

either the sun doesn´t shine or the wind doesn´t blow (customer request). In the middle, a water
storage tank for hot water and, to the right, a tank for 1000 liter diesel fuel.

The idea behind the EVA Energy Container is that it can provide full off-grid power in the outback
whenever needed.
LOW WEIGHT AND EASY TRANSPORTATION
What would you prefer? A large 1 ton engine power
pack or a micro turbine-based system weighting 10
times less which is capable of generating the exact
same power output.
EngineWorks designs micro turbines ranging in power
from 10 - 100 kW for B2B industries whose customers
have special requirements.
DEMAND MORE FROM ENGINES
EngineWorks is performing research on a new
type of internal combustion engine. The
engine can operate on gaseous and liquid
fuels, and can also be run by an external heat
source such as waste heat or the sun, via a
recuperator. No engine is more flexible!
